with Senate Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: DECEMBER 14, 2006

      These Senate floor amendments: change the term of the pilot program from five years to 10; modify certain reporting requirements and deadlines under the bill; require the Commissioner of Education to develop a transition plan for the county selected for participation in the pilot program; and make final acceptance for participation in the pilot program contingent on the adoption of the transition plan by the county’s board of chosen freeholders.
