An Act concerning State purchase of American-made flags and supplementing Title 52 of the Revised Statutes.

     1.  Any flag of the United States or flag of the State of New Jersey purchased with State funds shall be manufactured in the United States.

     2. This act shall take effect immediately.

STATEMENT

This bill would require that any flag of the United States or flag of the State of New Jersey purchased with State funds be manufactured in the United States.  It is only fitting that the State of New Jersey should purchase these most-honored symbols of our nation and our State from American businesses.
