ASSEMBLY, No. 2072

with Assembly Floor Amendments

      These floor amendments modify the bill to provide that the informational booklet required to be prepared by the Department of Health concerning bedbug infestation prevention and eradication will be made a part of the “Truth in Renting” booklet that is published by the Department of Community Affairs and is required to be furnished by every landlord to each tenant, as well as posted on the rental property.  This change will permit the tenant to receive all pertinent information in a uniform manner, rather than from several State entities, as well as reduce the costs to the State to prepare the booklet.
