A Concurrent Resolution overriding a line-item veto reducing an appropriation for Payments for Medical Assistance Recipients - Nursing Homes in the Department of Health and Senior Services.
Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of New Jersey (the General Assembly concurring):
1. That the following language provision on page 88 of Senate Bill No. 4000 of 2011 (P.L.2011, c.85) which was the subject of objection by the Governor in the Governor's veto statement of June 30, 2011, be restored to law as follows, the objection thereto of the Governor notwithstanding:

STATEMENT
This resolution overrides a line-item veto of an appropriation in the annual appropriations act for Fiscal Year 2012 that was reduced by the Governor's line-item veto. The General Fund appropriation for Payments for Medical Assistance Recipients - Nursing Homes was reduced by $29,652,000 from $676,000,000 to $646,605,000 by the Governor's line-item veto, reducing the amount available for Nursing Homes reimbursement rates for care, habilitation and treatment of Medicaid recipients residing in nursing homes in this State.
