Makes supplemental appropriations totaling $9,563,415 to DOH for grants of $7,765,325 to Newark Beth Israel Hospital and $1,798,090 to St. Francis Medical Center to implement improved health outcomes and sustainable transformation of healthcare delivery.

A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved 2016 (P.L.2016, c. ).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2016, c. , there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

The amount hereinabove appropriated for Grants-in-Aid for Health Outcomes and Care Delivery Transformation Initiative shall be awarded by the Commissioner of Health to Newark Beth Israel Hospital in the amount of $7,765,325 and to St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton in the amount of $1,798,090 to implement improved health outcomes and sustainable transformation of healthcare delivery.
2. This act shall take effect on July 1, 2016.
STATEMENT
This bill makes supplemental appropriations to the Fiscal Year 2017 Appropriations Act in the amount of $9,563,415 to the Department of Health for Grants-in-Aid to Newark Beth Israel Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton to implement improved health outcomes and sustainable transformation of healthcare delivery.
