The Assembly Tourism, Gaming and the Arts Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 1039.

     This bill directs the Division of Travel and Tourism in the Department of State to publish on its website, and update as appropriate, information on farm-to-table restaurants by region in New Jersey.  The bill also directs the division to establish a process by which farm-to-table restaurants may register for posting on the website, including the criteria to be met for designation as a “farm-to-table restaurant.” 

      This bill was pre-filed for introduction in the 2018-2019 session pending technical review.  As reported, the bill includes the changes required by technical review, which has been performed.
