The Senate Economic Growth Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 1039.

     As reported, this bill directs the Division of Travel and Tourism in the Department of State to publish on its website, and update as appropriate, information on farm-to-table restaurants by region in New Jersey.  The bill also directs the division to establish a process by which farm-to-table restaurants may register for posting on the website, including the criteria to be met for designation as a “farm-to-table restaurant.”

As reported, Assembly Bill No. 1039 is identical to Senate Bill No. 2499, which was also reported by the committee on this date.
