Makes Fiscal Year 2019 State supplemental appropriations totaling $34,208,000.

A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved July 1, 2018 (P.L.2018, c.53).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2018, c.53, the annual State appropriations act for Fiscal Year 2019, there are appropriated out of the General Fund the following sums for the purposes specified:

3. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill supplements the Fiscal Year 2019 appropriations act. The bill makes State appropriations totaling $34,208,000. The bill appropriates:
1) $1,836,000 in Direct State Services to the Department of Environmental Protection to fund water resource monitoring and planning as dedicated by Article VIII, section II, paragraph 6 of the New Jersey Constitution;
2) $8,811,000 in Capital Construction to the Department of Environmental Protection to fund hazardous substance discharge and private underground storage tank remediation as dedicated by Article VIII, section II, paragraph 6 of the New Jersey Constitution;
3) $7,500,000 in Grants-in-Aid for the Department of Health to fund East Orange General Hospital.
4) $5,000,000 in Direct State Services to the Department of Law and Public Safety to fund the New Jersey State Police Communication System;
5) $1,061,000 in Grants-in-Aid for Interdepartmental Accounts to provide operational support for the Liberty Science Center; and
6) $10,000,000 in State Aid to the Department of Community Affairs to fund Trenton Capital City Aid to lessen the impact of the States footprint on the local tax levy.
