SYNOPSIS

     Provides funding from the General Fund to the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority; appropriates $4 million.

An Act providing funding from the General Fund to the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority, supplementing P.L.1992, c.165 (C.40:54D-1 et seq.) 2, and making an appropriation2.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    2[There] Beginning in fiscal year 2020 and in each fiscal year thereafter prior to fiscal year 2034, there2 shall be appropriated 2[annually] $4,000,0002 from the General Fund to the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority established pursuant to section 18 of P.L.1992, c.165 (C.40:54D-18) 1[, in addition to the amounts collected by the director from within the municipalities of the authority from the tax on predominantly tourism related retail receipts pursuant to subsection b. of section 6 of P.L.1992, c.165 (C. 40:54D-6) in the current year,]1 2[an amount equal to the amount of revenues collected by the director from within the municipalities of the authority from the tax on predominantly tourism related retail receipts pursuant to subsection b. of section 6 of P.L.1992, c.165 (C. 40:54D-6) in the prior year, to be applied as set forth by section 21 of P.L.1992, c.165 (C.40:54D-21)]22Any amounts appropriated to the authority pursuant to this section shall be expended exclusively for boardwalk construction, maintenance, reconstruction, and repair.2

 

     22.   There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority the sum of $4,000,000 for the purposes described in section 1 of this act.2
