SENATE, No. 1567

with Assembly Floor Amendments

      These Assembly amendments ensure that employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement are covered under the bill and factored into the calculation of the minimum number of employees before an employer is to be subject to the requirements of the bill.  The amendments also delay the requirement to provide a pre-tax transportation fringe benefit to employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement, until the expiration of any collective bargaining agreement that is in effect on the effective date of the bill.
