with Assembly Floor Amendments

      These Assembly floor amendments replace the term “learning network” with “steering committee,” and provide that the steering committee will serve in an advisory capacity with regard to the pilot program, rather than directly administering the pilot program.

      The Assembly floor amendments provide that the Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services (DMHAS) in the Department of Human Services may contract with more than one managed care organization for the purposes of the pilot program.

      The Assembly floor amendments revise the reporting requirements under the bill to provide information is to be reported directly to the DMHAS.

      The Assembly floor amendments revise the commencement date of the pilot program and make corresponding changes to the effective date.
