SENATE RESOLUTION No. 144

STATE OF NEW JERSEY

      The Senate Transportation Committee reports favorably Senate Resolution No. 144.

      As reported, this resolution respectfully urges the United States Congress to permanently extend the federal tax credit for railroad track maintenance in order to ensure a safe and reliable rail network by encouraging Class II and Class III railroads, including short line railroads, to invest their revenues into railroad infrastructure.
