STATEMENT TO

ASSEMBLY, No. 4542

with Assembly Floor Amendments

(Proposed by Assemblywoman REYNOLDS-JACKSON)

ADOPTED: JUNE 21, 2021

      These Assembly Amendments:

      (1)  require all law enforcement agencies in this State to participate and provide to the commission any requested information, whether or not such law enforcement agency operates pursuant to the provisions of Title 11A of the New Jersey Statutes; and

      (2)  provide that “law enforcement agency” means and includes any county or municipal police department.
