STATEMENT TO

ASSEMBLY, No. 5126

with Assembly Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: MARCH 25, 2021

      These floor amendments require the Commissioner of Education to prepare and submit a learning loss report identifying and quantifying the impact of the COVID-19 public health emergency on student academic outcomes by May 31, 2021.  The floor amendments also require the Commissioner of Education to prepare and submit a final report providing comprehensive overview of the continuation of school services during the COVID-19 public health emergency by September 30, 2021.
