with Senate Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: MARCH 25, 2021

      These Senate amendments provide that, beginning with the 2021 general election, a ballot drop box would not have to be located on the main campus of each county community college.  The amendments also require a ballot drop box to be located in each municipality with a population larger than 5,000 residents, and removes the requirement that a ballot drop box be located in any municipal government building in which the main office of the municipal clerk is located in such municipalities.

      These Senate floor amendments make this bill identical to Senate Bill No. 3596.
