      The Senate Transportation Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 138.

      As reported, this bill provides an exemption from motor vehicle registration fees for motor vehicles not used for pleasure or for hire that are owned by a local nutrition program for seniors that is a Meals on Wheels America member and those that are owned by certain nonprofit organizations that offer social services.

      This bill was pre-filed for introduction in the 2020-2021 session pending technical review, which has been performed.
