SENATE, No. 766

with Senate Floor Amendments

(Proposed by Senator GOPAL)

ADOPTED: MARCH 5, 2020

These floor amendments would clarify that owners of food establishments are not required to allow dogs in the outdoor dining area of the food establishment, if the dog is not wearing the registration tag required by State law.  State law requires dog owners to register their dogs every three years, and owners must present evidence that the dog is vaccinated against rabies in order to be registered and to receive a registration tag.
