An Act concerning the fee for driver’s licenses and supplementing Title 39 of the Revised Statutes.

     1.    The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission shall discount the issuance or renewal fee and digitized picture fee for any license or endorsement that has an expiration date less than 48 months after the date of issuance as a result of the enactment of P.L.2017, c.91.  Any such fee shall be discounted on a prorated basis and the discounted fee shall be determined by calculating the number of months for which the license or endorsement is to be valid, dividing that number by 48, and multiplying the quotient by the pertinent fee.

STATEMENT
