SYNOPSIS
Makes fiscal year 2020 General Fund supplemental appropriation totaling $1,000,000 for medical transportation costs for residents of Veterans’ Memorial Homes.

A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020 and regulating the disbursement thereof, " approved June 30, 2019 (P.L.2019, c.150).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2019, c.150, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

2. The funds hereby appropriated shall be allocated in equivalent amounts to each of the Veterans’ Memorial Homes for the purpose of transporting residents to medical appointments.
3. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill amends the current fiscal year 2020 appropriations act to provide a total supplemental appropriation of $1,000,000 from the General Fund to fund medical transportation costs for residents of the Veterans’ Memorial Homes. The funding is required to be divided and distributed equally among the homes
