STATEMENT TO

SENATE, No. 1937

with Senate Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: JANUARY 28, 2021

      These amendments amend the bill to require that the recommendations made by the task force created by the bill include recommendations to promote employment of individuals with disabilities at all levels of government, local and State.  Without the amendments, the bill concerns efforts of State agencies to promote employment of individual with disabilities, but not the efforts of local government agencies.
