STATE OF NEW JERSEY

      The Senate State Government, Wagering, Tourism and Historic Preservation Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 3489.

     This bill changes the effective date of P.L.2021, c.1, which concerns State contracts for mental health, behavioral health, and addiction services.

     Currently, the effective date of P.L.2021, c.1 is July 1, 2021 and applies to all contracts entered into or renewed on or after that date.  This bill changes the effective date to begin immediately and to apply to all contracts entered into or renewed with an effective date on or after June 30, 2021.
