     Prohibits State from requiring private businesses to confirm individuals received COVID-19 vaccine for entry.

An Act concerning proof of receipt of the vaccination for the coronavirus disease 2019.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    The State, or any political subdivision of the State, shall not require a private business to confirm that an individual received a vaccination for the coronavirus disease 2019 in order for the individual to be granted entry onto the premises of the business.

 

     2.    This act shall take effect immediately and expire upon the rescission of Executive Order 103 of 2020, or any extension thereof or any replacement therefor.         

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill prohibits the State, or any political subdivision of the State, from requiring a private business to confirm that an individual received a vaccination for the coronavirus disease 2019 in order for the individual to be granted entry on the premises of the private business.
