      The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee reports favorably Senate Bill No. 3963.

      This bill would permit minors between 16 and 18 years of age to work up to 50 hours in a week during the summer period beginning the last day of the minor’s school year and ending on Labor Day.  However, a parent or guardian’s permission would be required in order for the minor to work these hours.  This bill takes effect immediately and expires on September 6 of 2021.
