      The Senate Commerce Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 134 (1R).

      This bill requires each cemetery company that is licensed pursuant to the "New Jersey Cemetery Act," N.J.S.8A:1-1 et seq., and is not a municipality to provide in its annual report to the New Jersey Cemetery Board information concerning the total acreage available, the total number of interment spaces, by type, in its cemetery and the number of interment spaces, by type, in its cemetery which were conveyed during the preceding year. This information, from year to year, will enable the cemetery board to determine the extent to which expansion is taking place, if any, in each cemetery and the extent to which any cemetery is approaching capacity.
