The Assembly Health Committee favorably reports Assembly Bill No. 272.
This bill extends the period during which a prescription for hypodermic needles or syringes is valid from six months to one year.
This bill is identical to Assembly Bill No. 2495 of 1994 (Bateman/Kavanaugh), which was reported by the Assembly Health and Human Services Committee during the last session.
This bill was prefiled for introduction in the 1996-97 session pending technical review. As reported, the bill includes the changes required by technical review which has been performed.
