STATEMENT

This bill deletes language in the fiscal year 1993 appropriations act that raised the copayment for the "Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled" program to $5 per prescription. This bill would, therefore, restore the copayment under the program to the previous level of $2 per prescription.

Restores copayment under PAAD to $2.
