ADOPTED: DECEMBER 1, 1997

      These amendments clarify that the requirement being placed in the Local Public Contracts Law by this bill, that a bidder submit a certificate concerning subcontractors, applies only when more than one subcontractor is set forth in connection with the following specialty trade categories: plumbing and gas fitting and all kindred work; steam power plants, steam and hot water heating and ventilating apparatus and all kindred work; electrical work; and structural steel and ornamental iron work.
