STATEMENT

Under current law, persons convicted of sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual contact are referred to the Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center (ADTC) for an evaluation to determine whether they are repetitive and compulsive sex offenders. This bill would require that persons convicted of possession of child pornography also be required to undergo evaluation at the ADTC.

Requires evaluation by the Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center of persons convicted of possession of child pornography.
