      The Senate Community Affairs Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 654 (1R).

      This bill would provide that an unpaid water service charge owed to a waterworks commission would be a municipal lien on the property until the charge is paid and satisfied. The lien would be enforceable by selling the property in the manner set forth in the "tax sale law," R.S.54:5-1 et seq.
