with Assembly Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: JANUARY 8, 1998

      The amendments add language exempting the owner or operator of a school bus and any governmental entity from liability related to the use of liquefied petroleum gas, except in cases of gross negligence, recklessness, actual fraud, actual malice, willful misconduct, or criminal conduct. The amendments also provide that this immunity is in addition to any other immunity provided by law, rule or regulation. The amendments make the bill identical to Senate Bill No. 302 (2R).
