with Assembly Floor Amendments

      These Assembly floor amendments further clarify the responsibilities of the local boards of education, contractors hired to transport pupils by the boards, county superintendents and Commissioner of Education in regard to school bus driver criminal history record checks. They also prohibit extension of the three-month provisional period during which a school bus driver may be hired pending completion of this check.
