The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 1032.
Assembly Bill No. 1032 permits State employees who are certified disaster service volunteers of the American Red Cross a leave of absence with pay for up to 10 work days each year and an additional leave of absence without pay for up to 10 work days each year to participate in specialized relief services for the American Red Cross. Such leave is contingent upon the request of the American Red Cross for the service of the State employee and upon the approval of that employee's appointing authority.
As reported, this bill is identical to the Senate Committee Substitute for Senate Bill Nos. 588 and 1339 (Inverso/LaRossa/Matheussen).
FISCAL IMPACT
This bill has not been certified as requiring a fiscal note because it will not have an impact on State revenues and expenditures.
