An Act concerning targeted picketing and supplementing Title 2C of the New Jersey Statutes.

 

    Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

    1. A person is guilty of a disorderly persons offense if the person demonstrates or pickets the residence or dwelling of a health care provider or social worker licensed pursuant to Title 45 of the New Jersey Statutes.

 

    2. This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

    This bill provides that a person commits a disorderly persons offense if the person pickets the residence or dwelling of a health care provider or licensed social worker. A disorderly persons offense is punishable by a term of imprisonment up to six months, a fine not to exceed $1,000 or both.

 

 

 

Prohibits demonstrating or picketing the residence or dwelling of health care providers.
