with Assembly Floor Amendments

      These floor amendments make several technical changes to section 1 of the bill which amends the criminal statutes concerning endangering the welfare of children. The amendments clarify that the crime of endangering the welfare of children includes, but is not limited to, the behaviors enumerated in this section. "Proper" has been added to describe the supervision in: "leaves the child unattended or without supervision under circumstances creating a risk of harm to the child." The amendments also delete the sections of the bill which make changes to the civil statutes concerning child abuse.
