with Senate Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: JULY 25, 1996

      This amendment requires that any structure (except a billboard or outdoor advertising sign) erected on or above any State right-of-way or real property pursuant to the provisions of this act shall be subject to local zoning ordinances.

        The bill already requires that any billboard or outdoor advertising sign erected on or above any State right-of-way or real property pursuant to the provisions of this act comply with local zoning ordinances and applicable local building permit requirements.

      If this amendment is adopted, this bill will be identical to Senate Bill No. 1326 as amended by the Senate on July 25, 1996.
