A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1996 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved June 30, 1995 (P.L.1995, c.164).

 

    Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

    1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.1995, c.164, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

 

GENERAL FUND

CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION

42 DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

40 Community Development and Environmental Management

42 Natural Resource Management

 

Capital Projects:

     Dredging and restoration

     of Franklin Lake. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ($800,000)

 

    2. This act shall take effect immediately.

 

STATEMENT

 

    This bill appropriates $800,000 in Capital Construction funds to the Department of Environmental Protection for the restoration and dredging of Franklin Lake in the borough of West Long Branch, Monmouth County, New Jersey.

    The cost of the project is based on the "Franklin Lake Diagnostic Feasibility Study," completed in September 1989 by F.X. Browne Associates, Inc. for the Borough of West Long Branch.

                             

 

Appropriates $800,000 from the General Fund to the DEP for the restoration and dredging of Franklin Lake in West Long Branch in Monmouth County.
