      The Assembly Consumer Affairs and Regulated Professions Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 1434.

      This bill prohibits the State Board of Psychological Examiners from adopting any rule or regulation which expands the psychological services, principles or procedures included in the scope of practice of a licensed practicing psychologist and from licensing any class of practitioner not currently required to be licensed by the board. The provisions of this bill will expire upon the enactment date of an act providing for the licensing of all mental health professionals under a single board.
