      The Assembly Education Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 1449 with committee amendments.

      As amended by committee, this bill recognizes the New Jersey Association of School Business Officials as a voluntary organization comprised of school business officials involved in the profession of school business administration. The association's purpose is to promulgate standards of ethics and efficiency in the business methods and practices of schools and to provide programs of education to school business administrators.

      The committee amended the bill to delete language which made reference to the payment of dues to the association by boards of education.
