      The Assembly Agriculture and Waste Management Committee favorably reports Assembly Bill No. 2020.

      This bill would revise the method additional delegates are appointed to the annual State agricultural convention. Current law names the specific agricultural organizations that are entitled to representation. This bill would assign to the State Board of Agriculture the authority for appointment of additional agricultural organizations as delegates to the convention.

      Proposed committee amendments would assign to the delegates to the annual convention, under criteria established by the State Board of Agriculture, the authority for appointment of additional agricultural organizations as delegates to the convention.
