with Assembly Floor Amendments

ADOPTED: DECEMBER 12, 1996

      These amendments are designed to incorporate into this bill the provisions of Assembly Bill No. 1136 (1R) which has passed both houses. Assembly Bill No. 1136 (1R) specifies that when a member of a school board in a Type II district resigns, the vacancy will be filled by a majority vote of the remaining members of the board after the vacancy has occurred.
