      The Assembly Appropriations Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 2066.

      Assembly Bill No. 2066 would appropriate $8,644,000 from monies made available pursuant to the "Green Acres, Clean Water, Farmland and Historic Preservation Bond Act of 1992," P.L.1992, c.88 for the purpose of providing loans to assist local government units, and private lake associations or similar organizations or owners of private dams, as co-applicants with local government units, to meet the costs of dam restoration projects or inland waters projects as defined in the bond act. This sum would include administrative costs.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

      This bill appropriates $8,644,000 from the "Green Acres, Clean Water, Farmland and Historic Preservation Bond Act of 1992" for the purpose of providing loans to meet costs of dam restoration or inland waters projects, as listed in the legislation.
