An Act concerning the testing of drinking water and supplementing P.L.1977, c.224 (C.58:12A-1 et seq.).

 

    Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

    1. Any supplier of water required to test the water supplied from a public water system pursuant to federal or State law shall annually notify 1in writing by mail1 each of the customers that receive water from the supplier of the results of the required water testing. The document reporting the results of the tests shall also include a list of contaminants found in the water and acceptable levels of these contaminants.

 

    2. This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

                             

 

Requires suppliers of water to notify customers of required water test results annually.
