      The Assembly Transportation and Communications Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 2282.

      This bill amends R.S.39:4-138 to prohibit parking along either side of any highway, including all ramps and connections, within the Interstate System in New Jersey or any highway with limited access under the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation. Exceptions to this prohibition are made in the case of an emergency or in areas specifically designated for parking with proper signs, or where turnouts or rest areas have been provided. This bill does not pertain to any, street, route, or highway under municipal or county jurisdiction.
