The Assembly Senior Issues, Tourism and Gaming Committee reports favorably Assembly, No. 2343.
At present, senior citizens and handicapped citizens are provided with reduced bus and rail fares only during off-peak times. This bill removes that limitation and provides bus and rail service for senior citizens and handicapped persons at one-half of the regular adult fare at all times such service is offered. The implementation period for the new program would be 180 days.
