STATEMENT

This bill would appropriate $130,000 to the Department of Transportation as State Aid to the borough of Metuchen in Middlesex County for the construction of a pedestrian bridge over the abandoned Lehigh Valley Railroad right-of-way in the vicinity of Graham Avenue. This pedestrian bridge would replace a bridge in this same location which has been removed because of its deteriorated condition but which previously afforded pedestrians access to businesses along Amboy Avenue and Metuchen's central business district.

Appropriates $130,000 to DOT for pedestrian bridge over abandoned railroad right-of-way.
