      The Assembly Local Government Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 2534.

      Assembly Bill No. 2534 appropriates $2,000,000 to the Division of Fire Safety in the Department of Community Affairs to fund a grant for the expansion and refurbishment of the fire training facilities at the Morris County Fire and Police Academy Life Safety Complex. This grant would provide the funds necessary to expand and refurbish the existing fire fighters' training facilities and provide the facilities required for training students in the life safety measures needed at natural gas, propane gas, trench rescue, and confined space emergencies.
