An Act appropriating 1[$375,000] $450,0001 from the "Port of New Jersey Revitalization, Dredging, Environmental Cleanup, Lake Restoration, and Delaware Bay Area Economic Development Bond Act of 1996," P.L.1996, c.70, for lake restoration projects in Monmouth county.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. a. There is appropriated to the Department of Environmental Protection from the "1996 Lake Restoration Fund," established pursuant to section 21 of the "Port of New Jersey Revitalization, Dredging, Environmental Cleanup, Lake Restoration, and Delaware Bay Area Economic Development Bond Act of 1996," P.L.1996, c.70," the sum of 1[$375,000] $450,0001 for the purpose of providing a grant to Monmouth county to meet the cost of lake restoration projects listed in subsection b. of this section.
b. The following lake restoration projects in Monmouth county shall be funded with the monies appropriated pursuant to subsection a. of this section:

c. Any unexpended funds from the projects listed in subsection b. of this section shall be returned to the "1996 Lake Restoration Fund" for reappropriation to fund additional projects authorized by law.
d. Any transfer of any funds or project sponsor, or change in project site, listed in subsection b. of this section shall require the approval of the Joint Budget Oversight Committee or its successor.
2. The expenditures of sums appropriated by this act are subject to the provisions and conditions of P.L.1996, c.70.
3. This act shall take effect immediately.
