      The Assembly Environment, Science and Technology Committee favorably reports Assembly Bill No. 2680 with committee amendments.

      As introduced, this bill would appropriate $375,000 from monies made available pursuant to the "Port of New Jersey Revitalization, Dredging, Environmental Cleanup, Lake Restoration, and Delaware Bay Area Economic Development Bond Act of 1996," P.L.1996, c.70, for the purpose of providing a grant to Monmouth county to undertake various lake restoration projects in the county.

      The committee amended the bill to raise the total sum appropriated to $450,000, to add four lakes to the approved project list, and to remove two lakes from the approved project list.
