An Act renaming the Department of Community Affairs and supplementing Title 52 of the Revised Statutes.

    Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

    1. The Department of Community Affairs shall henceforth be known as the Department of Community and Urban Affairs. Whenever in any law, rule, regulation, order, contract, document, judicial or administrative proceeding or otherwise, reference is made to the Department of Community Affairs, the same shall mean and refer to the Department of Community and Urban Affairs and the commissioner thereof.

    2. This act shall take effect immediately.

STATEMENT

    This bill renames the Department of Community Affairs as the Department of Community and Urban Affairs.
