      The Assembly Transportation and Communications Committee reports favorably Assembly Bill No. 2746.

      This bill provides for the issuance of special license plates for motor vehicles owned or leased by former municipal mayors. The plates would be available for an additional application fee of $50 to persons who have served at least one term as a mayor in this State. The plates would convey appropriate recognition of the registrant' s service as a mayor.
